Fatal Accident in Evia: 21-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed

A fatal traffic accident occurred in Evia in the early hours of Sunday, August 31, 2025, claiming the life of a 21-year-old motorcyclist.

The accident happened in the Psachna area, near the Palirroia factory, in the Municipality of Dirfyon – Messapion, around 1 a.m. According to initial reports, the 21-year-old's motorcycle collided with a passing car under unclear circumstances.

The severe collision resulted in serious injuries to the 23-year-old passenger of the motorcycle, who is hospitalized with head injuries, and the elderly driver of the car, who sustained minor injuries.

Police, ambulances from EKAV, and the Evia rescue team, led by Stavros Tzigiannis, rushed to the scene. The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
