Tragedy in Piraeus: 75-Year-Old Man Found Dead in Port

A 75-year-old man was found dead in the sea at the port of Piraeus, in the E1 gate area, on Saturday night.

The Tzelepis Port Authority was informed about the man's fall into the sea. Authority personnel went to the scene and pulled the man out unconscious.

The man was transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of Elefsina "THRIASIO", where his death was confirmed.

A preliminary investigation is being conducted by the 1st Port Department of Tzelepi of the Central Port Authority of Piraeus regarding the causes of the tragedy.
