Tragedy in Milos: Tourist Couple Drowns in Sarakiniko

Two tourists from Vietnam lost their lives in Sarakiniko, Milos. According to reports, the woman was swept away by the wind while taking a selfie and fell into the sea. Her husband tried to save her, resulting in both of them drowning.

Strong winds, up to 9 Beaufort, hampered the recovery operation. The assistance of a private diver was requested to retrieve the woman.

The couple had disembarked from a cruise ship in Adamantas and visited Sarakiniko.
