Thessaloniki: Mothers Arrested for Child Neglect

Two mothers were arrested in Thessaloniki following incidents where their minor children were found wandering unsupervised. In the first case, a 27-year-old woman was arrested in Toumba after her 3-year-old daughter was found by police at the "Eukleidis" station of the Thessaloniki Metro. In the second case, in Ampelokipi, a 3-year-old boy was found unaccompanied by a citizen after he escaped from his home.

Both mothers were charged with child endangerment.
