Thessaloniki: Turkish National Arrested on Interpol Warrant for Drug Trafficking

A Turkish national wanted by Interpol has been arrested in Thessaloniki by the Hellenic Police. The man had been convicted in Turkey for drug trafficking.

According to a statement by the ELAS (Hellenic Police), the arrest was made by the Organized Crime Unit of Northern Greece, following the appropriate use of information. The arrested individual is being led to the competent prosecutor's office.

The arrest took place on August 11, 2025.
