A mini market in the Analipsi area of Thessaloniki was being used to sell synthetic cannabis. Police arrested three people, a 35-year-old man and two female employees (39 and 38 years old). The 58-year-old owner and her 67-year-old husband were also identified.

The arrests were made after a search by police officers from the Drug Immediate Intervention Department. Three customers were found leaving the mini market with small quantities of synthetic cannabis.

During the search of the store, €2,640 in cash and 20 packages of synthetic cannabis, weighing 40.67 grams, were confiscated. An additional 191 packages of synthetic cannabis, weighing 472.80 grams, were found in an apartment used by the 35-year-old. A motorcycle was also confiscated.

A search of the couple's home in Epanomi revealed two military-type knives, a scope, a pistol magazine, 17 cartridges, and a carbine.

A case file was formed against those involved for criminal organization, violation of the law on addictive substances, and the law on weapons. The three customers were also arrested.
