Thessaloniki: Passion Crime Leaves 66-Year-Old Executive Dead

A crime of passion occurred in Thessaloniki, where a 66-year-old executive of a well-known company was murdered by the 60-year-old husband of his 50-year-old partner.

The incident took place on the landing of an apartment used by the woman for meetings with her lover. The husband, suspecting infidelity, had hired a private detective.

According to his testimony, he did not intend to kill the 66-year-old, but to talk to him. He claims he punched the victim after arrogant behavior and a shove.
