Thessaloniki: 71-Year-Old Arrested for Threats with Hunting Rifles

A 71-year-old man was arrested in Thessaloniki on charges of violating the Law on Weapons and making threats. According to the Hellenic Police (EL.AS.), the man allegedly threatened neighbors from the balcony of his house in a village in the Municipality of Lagadas, holding two hunting rifles.

By order of the prosecutor, the elderly man was released and transferred to a psychiatric clinic for involuntary hospitalization.
