41-Year-Old Sailor Found Dead on Cargo Ship in Lavrio

A 41-year-old foreign sailor was found dead on a cargo ship flying the Greek flag in the port of Lavrio. The causes of death remain unclear.

The sailor was found unconscious and transported by a Hellenic Coast Guard vessel to the port, under the coordination of the Joint Search and Rescue Coordination Center (EKSED).

An ambulance from EKAV transported him to the General Hospital Asklipieio Voulas, where his death was confirmed.
