Trapper Ivan Greko Arrested for Vehicle Theft in Glyfada

The well-known trapper Ivan Greko was arrested yesterday afternoon in Glyfada by police officers for driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen.
According to ertnews.gr, initial reports indicated that the 25-year-old was under house arrest with electronic monitoring, but on December 12th, this restrictive condition had been lifted and replaced with reporting to a police station and a travel ban.
The incident occurred when police stopped Ivan Greko for a check on Cyprus Street. It was discovered that the car he was driving had been reported stolen from Oreokastro, Thessaloniki. A second person in the vehicle was also arrested for possession of a small quantity of drugs.
Ivan Greko was arrested under the procedure of 'autofore' (in flagrante delicto) and is expected to be brought before the prosecutor.
