Giannis Malamas Arrest: 'His psychology is awful,' says his mother

The mother of musician Giannis Malamas, son of singer Sokratis Malamas, commented on his arrest to protothema.gr. She said, 'To react, he received action that he couldn't handle.'

His mother, Glykeria, added that her son 'had never created a problem in the past, he is a good kid and right now his psychology is awful.' The 20-year-old was led before the prosecutor.

According to the police, Giannis Malamas was involved in an incident with a taxi driver and then resisted arrest, hitting a police officer. A case file was formed against him for violence against employees, insult, threat, and bodily harm. The police officer is being treated for minor injuries at 401 Military Hospital.
