Giannis Malamas Arrest: Reactions and Trial Delay

The mother of Giannis Malamas, son of Sokrates Malamas, commented on her son's arrest to protothema.gr, saying that 'action brings reaction.' The 20-year-old was arrested and taken to the prosecutor, with the trial postponed to September 18.

According to the police, Giannis Malamas was involved in an incident with a taxi driver and then resisted arrest, injuring a police officer. At the Acropolis Police Station, he allegedly continued to insult and threaten the police officers. A case file has been formed against him for violence against employees, insult, threat, and bodily harm.

His mother stated that her son is a good kid and that his psychology is in a bad state. The injured police officer is hospitalized at 401.
