Driver Arrested in Kalyvia for Reckless Driving

A 42-year-old driver was arrested in Kalyvia, Attica, for reckless driving, driving under the influence of alcohol, and threatening and insulting police officers.

According to the police, the 42-year-old was spotted driving at 151 km/h on Lavriou Avenue, in an area where the speed limit is 80 km/h. It was also found that he was driving under the influence of alcohol (0.63 mg/l) and did not possess a driver's license, as it had been revoked.

During the arrest, the driver allegedly threatened and insulted the police officers. The arrested man was led to the competent Prosecutor.
