Foreign National Arrested for Drugs in Crete: Cocaine Seized

A foreign national was arrested in Crete by police officers of the DI.AS team of the Chania Immediate Action Department and the Narcotics Department of the Chania Crimes Prosecution and Investigation Sub-Directorate for a drug case.

According to the police, the 41-year-old was located in Chania driving a rental car. During the search, a small amount of cocaine was found in the vehicle. A subsequent search of his home resulted in the seizure of a total of 143 grams of cocaine, a scale, and mobile phones.

The preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Narcotics Department of the Chania Crimes Prosecution and Investigation Sub-Directorate.
