Foreign National Arrested for Bribery in Sagayada

A foreign national was arrested by police officers of the Filiates Department at the Sagayada border checkpoint on charges of bribing an employee.

According to epiruspost.gr, an arrest warrant was pending against him by the Investigating Magistrate of Thesprotia. The case is related to an investigation into the activities of a ring at the Mavromati Customs Office, which had led to the arrest of customs officials.

The arrested individual was led to the competent prosecutor's office.
