45-Year-Old Arrested for Harassing Women in Exarcheia

A 45-year-old foreign national was arrested in Exarcheia by O.P.K.E. police officers for harassing women. The arrest followed an incident on Kallidromiou Street, where the man was found with his pants zipper open and an 18-centimeter knife in his possession.

According to police, the arrested man is allegedly involved in three other cases. On February 2, 2026, a woman reported seeing him masturbating while watching her from her home window on Justinianou Street. On February 3, 2026, a minor reported a similar incident on Plapouta Street. On February 4, 2026, another woman reported seeing him masturbating in front of her on Justinianou Street.

On February 12, 2026, one of the women spotted him again on Kallidromiou Street and handed him over to the police. The victims identified the arrested man at the competent Department.
