43-Year-Old Arrested for Environmental Pollution in Aspropyrgos

A 43-year-old business owner was arrested in Aspropyrgos for environmental pollution with hazardous waste. The arrest followed an investigation by authorities at a used vehicle and scrap trading company.

During the inspection, a large amount of electrical equipment waste and lubricating oils, classified as hazardous waste, were found, causing extensive pollution.

The investigation was carried out by the Environmental Protection Department of the Attica Crimes Prosecution and Investigation Directorate, in cooperation with the Attica Region. The arrested individual was led to the competent Prosecutor.
