42-Year-Old Arrested for Speeding on National Road

A 42-year-old man was arrested by police for speeding on the New National Road Athens - Lamia. The driver was detected by radar traveling at 208 kilometers per hour in the Kifissia area, while the speed limit is 130 kilometers per hour.

The arrest was made by police officers of the Traffic Accident Control and Prevention Teams (O.E.P.T.A) of the Attica Traffic Directorate. The driver was subjected to the prescribed administrative penalties and a case file was formed for dangerous driving. The arrested man was taken to the competent Prosecutor by the B' Department of Highway Traffic PATHE Attica.
