26-Year-Old Azerbaijani Arrested for Photographing Military Installations in Chania

A 26-year-old Azerbaijani national was arrested in Chania, Crete, on Sunday, following a joint operation by the National Intelligence Service (EYP) and the Hellenic Police.

According to initial reports, the arrested individual allegedly photographed military installations in the Souda area, including warships and their movements.

The 26-year-old's actions have raised suspicions of espionage activity.
