Man Who Threatened GADA with Grenades Appears in Court

The 48-year-old Sudanese national who threatened the General Police Directorate of Attica (GADA) with grenades has been brought before the Court of Evelpidon. The arrested man will appear before the relevant investigator to give his statement.
According to the police announcement, the 48-year-old approached the GADA guard post carrying a backpack and a bag, stating that he possessed explosives. Police forces immobilized and disarmed him. A team from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Department (TEEM) located two defensive grenades.
A controlled explosion was carried out on the backpack, with no further dangerous materials found.
