Outrage in Greece: Policewoman Reports Assault by Ex-Partner

Outrage has erupted in Greece following a report by a young policewoman who claims, via a video on social media, that she was assaulted by her ex-partner, who is also a police officer.

In the video, the policewoman – who in the past had been targeted by the internal affairs division of the Hellenic Police (ELAS) for her lavish lifestyle and expensive trips – reports that she has suffered assault and revenge porn.

According to skai.gr, the complaint was filed in 2023, but the accused officer is still serving in ELAS, specifically in GADA (Athens Police Headquarters).

After the assault in a nightclub, the policewoman used the panic button on her phone, and police officers rushed to the scene. The perpetrator is wanted by the authorities, and disciplinary and criminal proceedings have been initiated against him.
