Rhodes: 36 Migrants Rescued, 2 Smugglers Arrested

In Rhodes, Greek authorities rescued 36 migrants and arrested two smugglers, Turkish nationals, allegedly members of an international criminal organization.

According to the Coast Guard, a speedboat carrying the migrants, 15 of whom were minors, was stopped after a chase and warning shots north of Rhodes. The smugglers, aged 31 and 41, were arrested, and the boat was confiscated.

The rescued individuals were transferred to the port of Mandraki in Rhodes. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
