Rethymno: 42-Year-Old Arrested with 75 kg of Cannabis

A 42-year-old was arrested yesterday in Rethymno by police officers of the Narcotics Department, accused of violating drug laws.

The 42-year-old, owner of a company packaging and trading industrial cannabis products, was trading products with a higher content of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) than the permitted limit.

During a search of a storage area, 74 kg and 390 grams of plant extracts of raw cannabis, 1 kg and 210 grams of raw cannabis, and 124 grams of processed cannabis were found and confiscated.

The arrested person will be brought before the competent prosecutor.
