Rethymno: Fuel Thefts from Construction Site Solved

In Rethymno, two cases of fuel theft from construction sites have been solved. Two locals, aged 20 and 23, were arrested following an investigation by the Rethymno Crimes Prosecution and Investigation Sub-Directorate.

Police identified the perpetrators and confiscated part of the stolen fuel, which was returned. In addition, another theft of 200 liters of fuel from a vehicle at a construction site, which had taken place on November 17, was solved.

In total, the thefts involved 1,000 liters of fuel from vehicles and construction machinery in the Rethymno Municipality area.
