Fire in Peristeri Apartment: Two Women Hospitalized

A fire broke out in a ground-floor apartment in Peristeri, resulting in the injury of two women. The Fire Service responded promptly with six firefighters and two vehicles.

The fire started shortly after 1 a.m. Two women, aged 80 and 48, were injured. The elderly woman experienced respiratory problems due to smoke inhalation, while the 48-year-old suffered minor burns to her hands.

As a precaution, a family of four was evacuated from an apartment on the first floor. The causes of the fire are being investigated by the competent authorities.

The Fire Service announced that the fire was brought under full control.
