Keratea Fire: Arrest of DEDDIE Employees

Two employees of the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator (DEDDIE) have been arrested in connection with the fire that broke out on Friday in Keratea.

The fire started from a short circuit in an electricity pole. The two employees, responsible for repairing faults and maintaining the network in the Mesogeia area, are accused of omissions in the maintenance of the network, which led to the fire.

A managerial executive is also being sought in connection with the case.
