Gun Found Buried in Korydallos Prison

An alarm was raised at Korydallos Prison after a buried gun and eight bullets were discovered in the courtyard of the 5th wing on October 27th.

According to authorities, the wing houses well-known criminals, including Klodian Lekotsai, known as the leader of the 'prison mafia'. Turkish prisoners allegedly involved in murders are also held in the same wing.

The pistol found buried is a Pietro Beretta - Gardone V.T. Cal 7.65-PAT. Authorities are conducting an investigation to determine how the weapon ended up in the prison courtyard.
