Piraeus: Police Rescue 5-Year-Old from Balcony in Kaminia

A five-year-old boy was rescued by police in Kaminia, Piraeus, after being found alone on a first-floor balcony on Tuesday night.
According to reports, a DI.AS. team was patrolling the area when they received a signal about a minor throwing objects from a balcony. Police rushed to the scene and found the child alone, without an adult present in the house.
The door was locked, causing concern for the officers, who climbed onto the balcony. They stayed with the child until a relative arrived. About 40 minutes later, the boy's 17-year-old sister arrived, stating that she had left him with their adult sister, who was absent.
The children's mother is in Kalamata for work. The prompt intervention of the police prevented the worst.
