Patras: Club Owners Face Prosecutor Over 30-Year-Old's Death

The owners of a club in Patras are being brought before the prosecutor today, following the death of a 30-year-old man who was beaten to death. The two owners were arrested because, reportedly, the video footage from the cameras inside the establishment was destroyed.
The two arrested individuals, aged 40 and 56, are accused of false testimony, harboring a criminal, and obstruction of justice in complicity. According to the police, the owners stated that the cameras had been handed over to a security company, a claim refuted by the company owner.
Authorities are searching for seven perpetrators allegedly involved in the beating. Three of them have been identified: a 35-year-old, his 38-year-old brother, and a 29-year-old. The seven are accused of manslaughter and aggravated bodily harm in complicity and repeatedly.
Following the incident, disturbances occurred in Patras, with relatives and friends of the victim causing damage to a café owned by the club owner. A strong police force remains in the area to prevent further incidents.
