Pallini: Drunk Driver Crashes into Car – Video

A video showing the moment a 55-year-old drunk driver crashed a pickup truck into a car in Pallini has been released.

The video, published by MEGA, shows the driver, under the influence of alcohol and with two children, ages 10 and 12, in the vehicle, colliding at speed with the car in front. The driver of the car had managed to turn on the hazard lights and stop the vehicle on the sidewalk.

An eyewitness stated that the pickup truck did not brake at all before the collision.

Police arrested the driver, who had consumed almost 4 times more alcohol than the permitted limit. A case file was opened against him for dangerous driving, exposing minors to danger, and driving under the influence of intoxication.
