Palaio Faliro: 32-Year-Old Algerian Woman Remanded in Custody for Death of 3-Year-Old

A 32-year-old woman from Algeria has been remanded in custody following her statement regarding the murder of her three-year-old daughter in Palaio Faliro. The accused denies the charges, claiming the child was already dead due to an accident.

According to ERT, the 32-year-old claimed that her daughter, Jenna, died after falling in the bathroom. "Jenna and I went into the shower for her to take a bath... I saw her fall on the floor and convulsing," she stated. She claimed she panicked and transported Jenna's body to the sea.

In her statement, the 32-year-old described her movements, as recorded by security cameras, including arriving in Faliro by tram and shopping at a kiosk before going to the beach.

The case remains under investigation.
