Palaio Faliro: New Revelations on the Death of the 3-Year-Old

Investigations continue into the death of the 3-year-old found dead on Eden beach in Palaio Faliro. The child's mother faces charges of murder, and her statements present contradictions.
Police reporter Vasilis Lambropoulos stated on "Koinonia Ora MEGA" that the 32-year-old Algerian woman, in informal discussions with the Attica Security, described the child's fall in the bathroom and the health problems she faced. Forensic doctors believe that the child's underlying metabolic disease was worsening.
In her statement to the Police, the woman stated that the child was alive when she took her to the sea, while in the Coast Guard she stated that she was already dead. Investigations showed that there was relatively normal care for the children, as hospital documents were found.
According to Vasilis Lambropoulos, the other two children of the 32-year-old seemed to have full awareness of the events. The lawyer of the 32-year-old, Evita Varela, stated that histological examinations are expected to determine the causes and time of death.
