Mytilene: Fatal Workplace Accident – 44-Year-Old Dead

A 44-year-old Albanian worker died in a workplace accident in Mytilene. The worker, known as 'Marios', fell from the roof of a building.

'Marios' was known in the local community, as he had worked for years in catering and construction. In September of last year, he rescued a 71-year-old woman from drowning in the port of Mytilene.

The Pallesviako Labor Center is organizing a protest rally today, Sunday, November 16, at 12 noon, in Sappho Square.
