Mykonos: 4 Albanians Arrested for Robbing Tourists

In Mykonos, police arrested four burglars of Albanian origin for robbing tourists. The perpetrators had committed burglaries in hotels, tourist accommodations, and residences in the areas of Elia, Chalara, Agrari, Lino, Paraga, and Skalado.

Between August 6 and 20, the gang carried out ten burglaries and three attempted burglaries, with the total loot amounting to 138,000 euros. The burglars entered the buildings at night, breaking windows and balcony doors, stealing money, jewelry, clothing, and accessories.

Part of the stolen goods was found hidden in rocks. Watches, earrings, clothes, 3,395 euros, dollars, and Swiss francs were confiscated from the suspects' accommodation. The arrested individuals will be brought before the investigator.
