Messinia: Car Falls Off Cliff at Santova Beach – Driver Safe

A traffic accident occurred this morning at Santova beach in Messinia, when a pickup truck, under unclear circumstances, fell off a 9-meter cliff.

The driver managed to free himself and is in good health. He was taken to Kalamata Hospital as a precaution by an ambulance.

Fire Department vehicles, Messinia Traffic Police officers, an ambulance paramedic, and an ambulance rushed to the scene. According to ERT, the car ended up on the beach, away from the beach bars, posing no risk to beachgoers.

Small children in the area were frightened by the noise.
