Messinia: Car Falls off Cliff at Santova Beach – Driver Safe

A car accident occurred at Santova beach in Messinia, when a car fell off a 9-meter cliff. The driver managed to free himself.

The incident happened today, Thursday, when the vehicle, under unclear circumstances, veered off course and ended up on the beach. Fire service vehicles, traffic police officers, an ambulance and a paramedic rushed to the scene.

The driver is in good health and was transferred to Kalamata Hospital as a precaution. The car ended up away from the beach bars, without endangering the bathers.
