OASA Bus Crashes into Apartment Building in Papagou

An OASA bus, on line 409, crashed into an apartment building in Papagou on Monday afternoon in Konitsis Square. The accident caused material damage.

According to reports, the bus was parked when it started rolling down a sloped road, ultimately colliding with the apartment building and a parked vehicle. A resident told ERT that the driver claimed the handbrake 'came loose'. The impact was so strong that residents thought there was an earthquake.

The collision caused material damage to the ground floor and first floor of the apartment building, as well as to the parked car.
