A wrong blood transfusion occurred at Euroclinic, leading to the arrest of three people.

According to reports, a nurse at the clinic transfused the wrong blood type to a 67-year-old patient early Monday morning (8/9). The patient's wife noticed the error, and the transfusion was immediately stopped after 40ml of the 200ml were administered.

The patient is hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit, but according to the clinic, his life is not in danger. The nurse, the director of the clinic, and the supervisor were arrested. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

Euroclinic issued a statement saying that the administration of a unit of blood intended for another patient began in deviation from strict procedures, but the incident was immediately noticed and the process was stopped without delay.
