Larissa: 78-Year-Old Arrested for Killing Cat – €30,000 Fine Imposed

A 78-year-old man was arrested in Agia, Larissa, on Monday (18/8) on charges of killing a cat. According to choraagia.gr, the elderly man allegedly kicked the animal, causing its death.

The arrested man will be brought before the Prosecutor of Larissa today. In addition, an administrative fine of €30,000 was imposed on him, as provided for by the relevant legislation.
