The trial for the alleged rape of a 19-year-old in Kos in 2019 has been postponed, following a complaint against her colleague. The case, which is being heard in the Mixed Jury Court of Rhodes, concerns an incident that allegedly took place in the toilets of a nightclub.

The complainant's lawyer, Anthoula Anasoglou, expressed her disappointment at the postponement, stressing the psychological pressure her client is under due to the long delay. According to the complaint, the incident occurred on June 22, 2019, when the 19-year-old and the accused were at a nightclub. The complainant claims that the accused followed her to the toilets and engaged in sexual intercourse against her will.

The accused denies the charge, claiming he kissed the complainant but did not commit any further acts. The case remains pending, with the complainant awaiting trial for seven years.
