Xanthi: 27-Year-Old Turkish Man Arrested with 25 Pistols
A 27-year-old Turkish national was arrested in Xanthi by the Organized Crime Unit of Northern Greece for possession of 25 pistols.
The arrest followed an investigation and intelligence gathering. During the police operation, the suspect was located in a short-term rental house, where the weapons, ā¬950, a mobile phone, connection packages, and a car key were confiscated. The vehicle was also seized.
Additionally, in Alexandroupolis, 13 Turkish nationals were brought before the prosecutor on charges of transporting 147 pistols and 190 magazines. Felony charges were filed against them.
