Xanthi: Hunter Shoots Hunting Supervisor During Wild Boar Operation

A serious incident occurred in Xanthi, where a hunter accidentally shot the hunting supervisor of the Forest Service during an operation to control the wild boar population.
The incident took place in the Genisea area. The 62-year-old injured man was taken to Xanthi hospital, where he underwent surgery. According to ERT, the bullets hit his spleen and liver.
Doctors removed the bullets, and his health condition is stable. Xanthi Security is investigating the circumstances of the accident, examining all possibilities.
