Crete: Kiosk Owner Arrested for Selling Alcohol to 15-Year-Old

A 45-year-old kiosk owner was arrested in Heraklion, Crete, accused of selling alcohol to a 15-year-old student during a school trip. According to neakriti.gr, the incident occurred on March 18.
The student, from Chania, bought vodka, consumed it, and subsequently felt unwell, losing consciousness. Teachers called an ambulance, and the student was taken to PAGNI for precautionary reasons. The next day, his father picked him up.
Authorities arrested the kiosk owner for violating the law regarding the sale of alcohol to minors.
