Crete: Infant in Critical but Stable Condition After Falling from Balcony

A 13-month-old infant remains in critical but stable condition after falling from a balcony in Gerani, Platanias Municipality, Crete. The child is being treated in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of the University Hospital of Heraklion (PAGNH).

According to cretalive.gr, the director of PAGNH, Mr. Giorgos Chalkiadakis, expressed hope that the infant will overcome the critical condition. The accident occurred when the infant escaped the attention of its 17-year-old mother.

The infant was initially transferred to the Chania Hospital and then to PAGNH due to the severity of the injuries.
