Porsche Driver Convicted of Domestic Violence in Chania

The 45-year-old driver of the Porsche, who is in custody for the fatal traffic accident in Chania in January, has been convicted of domestic violence.
The Chania Three-Member Misdemeanor Court found him guilty of assaulting his ex-wife, imposing a 13-month prison sentence. According to zarpanews.gr, the conviction relates to an incident where the 45-year-old hit his ex-wife on the head and neck, threatening her in front of their 18-month-old daughter.
The court rejected the request for a mitigating circumstance, while the 45-year-old remains in custody for the fatal traffic accident, where 22-year-old Panagiotis lost his life, facing felony charges.
In January, the 45-year-old Porsche driver was involved in a fatal accident on Souda Avenue, where Panagiotis was killed instantly. The 45-year-old had tested positive for alcohol.
