Cassie Ventura's Lawyers React to Diddy's Sentencing

Cassie Ventura's lawyers have expressed their satisfaction with Sean 'Diddy' Combs' sentencing to 50 months in prison and a $500,000 fine for two counts of transporting women for the purpose of prostitution. They stated that the sentence acknowledges the severity of the offenses.
In a letter to the judge prior to the sentencing announcement, Ventura described her relationship with Combs as 'the most traumatic and horrific chapter of my life'.
Her lawyers, Douglas Wigdor and Meredith Firetog, emphasized that the sentence recognizes the impact of the serious offenses committed by Combs.
Ventura testified about physical and psychological abuse she suffered for over ten years, as well as coercion into sexual parties and incidents of violence. A video of Combs attacking her in a hotel in 2016 was shown during the trial.
