Ionian Sea: 36-year-old Passenger Missing from Ferry – Search in Progress

A 36-year-old is missing after boarding a ferry in the Ionian Sea, on the Patras-Igoumenitsa-Venice route. Coast Guard searches are underway to locate him.

According to initial reports, the 36-year-old is believed to have fallen into the sea from a German-flagged ferry. Vessels and a Coast Guard aircraft are participating in the search. Weather conditions are good, but so far no trace of the missing man has been found.
