Ilion: Violent Robbery of a 71-Year-Old Cancer Patient

A shocking robbery occurred in Ilion against a 71-year-old cancer patient. Two young men attacked him as he returned home with his pension money, totaling 500 euros.

The incident took place on Monday afternoon when the perpetrators pretended to be acquaintances, beat him, and snatched his wallet. They then pushed him down the stairs, causing serious head, face, and neck injuries.

The 71-year-old is hospitalized, while police are investigating to identify the perpetrators. The elderly man has an 80% disability and undergoes chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

"The doctor said it was a miracle I survived," he stated.
