Athens: 16-year-old's last words before death outside club

The death of a 16-year-old outside a club in the Gazi district of Athens has caused shock. Toxicological tests are expected to shed light on the causes of death, while the autopsy showed a pulmonary embolism.

According to testimonies from her friends, the 16-year-old visited two entertainment venues and a friend's house before collapsing. "The last thing we heard from our friend's mouth was 'I love you' to us," a friend stated.

According to the testimonies, the group bought a bottle of vodka and consumed it before going to the club on Dekeleon Street. There, the 16-year-old felt unwell and collapsed on the steps of an apartment building.
