Phocis: 70-year-old charred in car while his house was on fire

A tragedy unfolded in Phocis, where a 70-year-old man was found charred inside his car near the Mariolata - Lilaia road. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning.

Firefighters who arrived at the scene extinguished the fire and recovered the man's body. Simultaneously, a fire had broken out at his house in Ano Mariolata, causing serious material damage.

Firefighters from P.K. Polydrosou and Amfikleia rushed to the scene and brought the fire at the house under control.
